Dram Seekers' Society

What better way to kick start 2024 than with a few wee drams. Join us for a whole host of whisky led events. Whether you're a whisky connoisseur, or you want to learn a little more about the peaty stuff.

Flights of Fancy

Join us for an evening of blind whisky tasting at your Chislehurst local. You'll get to try three different whiskies and test your knowledge of all things malt. Perfect for a date night, or for any whisky lover.

Whisky Cocktails

Our talented team are ready and raring to shake up a moreish Whisky cocktail. Sip a zingy Whisky Sour, or find a cosy corner to warm up with an Old Fashioned.

Whisky Business

We’ll be celebrating the malty stuff and showcasing how darn delicious whisky is. Whether you want to join us for a lip-smackingly good whisky cocktail, work your way through a flight of whiskies at a blind tasting, or set up shop by a crackling fire with a wee dram, head your favourite whisky-loving pub in Chislehurst.

Whisky Events…

Burns Night

Ceilidh the night away at our Burns Night celebration on 25th January from 7pm. We’ll be treating you to some live music, taking part in a spot of Ceilidh, and of course, raising a wee dram in celebration of Robbie Burns.

Tasting Notes…

Singleton of Dufftown

12 YO

Region: Speyside, Scotland

Appearance: Rich amber, polished mahogany highlights.

Body: Medium to full-bodied.

Nose: Approachable & rich. First polished wood & nuts dominate, then stewed fruits, dried fruits, & soft brown sugar take over. With water, a sweeter, more direct Speyside character develops. Clean & dense.

Palate: Sweetness & crunchy nuts impress at first, then a smooth, fruity Speyside richness. Firm, with a balancing sweetness. Brown sugar & espresso coffee. Warming & pleasant. Light sweetness, then chewy with water.

Finish: Medium to long, elegantly drying and crisp, completed by a pleasant, sweetly nutty chew-ability.

Monkey Shoulder

Region: Speyside, Scotland

Appearance: Apricot, amber, Tamarin gold

Body: Medium bodied.

Nose: An elegant, stylish nose of marmalade, Crema Catalana , cocoa & malt. Vanilla & a sprinkling of winter spice alongside a mouth-watering hint of aniseed.

Palate: Very malty, creamy delivery with berry fruit. Juicy toasted barley, cloves & butterscotch. Manuka honey, hot-buttered-toast and dried apricot develop.

Finish: Medium length, spicy oak & a hint of peppermint on the tail.
